What is the difference between tinted and polarised lenses?+
Tinted lenses reduce overall brightness and provide UV protection. Polarised lenses also filter reflected glare from surfaces such as roads and water, improving comfort in bright conditions.
How much are polarised lenses?+
Polarised lenses are available as a £50 add-on to the selected lens option.
Can you make prescription sunglasses?+
Yes. Suitable single vision, bifocal and varifocal prescriptions can be made as sunglass lenses, subject to lens and frame suitability.
Can you replace non-prescription sunglass lenses?+
Yes. Standard non-prescription UV sunglass lenses are available from £25.
What tint colours are available?+
Common options include grey, brown, green, blue, rose and gradient finishes. Availability can vary depending on the lens material and prescription.
Are darker lenses more protective?+
Lens darkness and UV protection are not the same thing. Your sunglass lenses should provide appropriate UV protection regardless of the chosen tint depth.
Are polarised lenses better for driving?+
Polarised lenses can be particularly helpful for daytime driving because they reduce reflected glare from roads and vehicle surfaces. They are not suitable for driving at night.
Can I have a mirror finish?+
Yes. Mirror-tinted replacement lenses are available from £25 for suitable non-prescription orders.
Can you replace Ray-Ban or Oakley lenses?+
