What are single vision lenses?

Single vision lenses contain one prescription across the entire lens. They are ideal when you need glasses for one specific purpose, such as distance vision, reading or computer work.

Whether your prescription has changed or your current lenses are scratched, we can manufacture new lenses and fit them into the frame you already love.

What are single vision lenses used for?

Single vision lenses correct one viewing distance. They can be made for distance vision, reading or intermediate tasks such as computer work.

Can I choose thinner lenses?

Yes. We offer 1.6, 1.67 and 1.74 high-index options for prescriptions that would benefit from a slimmer, lighter lens.

How do I send you my glasses?

After ordering, you will receive clear instructions explaining how to package and post your glasses securely to us.

What happens if my frame is damaged?

We inspect your frame before glazing. If we find damage or believe the frame may not be suitable, we will contact you before any work is carried out.

How long does single vision reglazing take?

Most single vision orders are completed within 5–7 working days from receiving your glasses, although specialist lenses may take a little longer.

Will you clean my glasses before returning them?
